Update Of Digital Device Day

Today is digital day. We acomplished an achievement for out multiplication. We can bring any device we want. We can bring Play stations , I Pods,I Pads, XBox,And Lots More. We also get to have a shared lunch.Everybody brought YUMMY FOOD It Looks really nice. We get the whole afternoon to play on them.

Digital day

In room 5 we have been working towards everybody knowing there times tables as goal. We tried to double our times tables. We happily achieved our goal so we get to have a digital day!!! In the digital day we get a shared lunch and for the whole afternoon we get to play on our digital devices. Everybody helped us get this achievement and our teacher is very proud of us.

More Space

In room 5 we are doing posters about planets her are some of the planets we did. Black holes ,Sirius A And B, earth, mercury, milkyway and more. I did mercury here is a fact or 2 about mercury. A year in mercury is only 88 days!! Mercury is the closest planet to the sun!! All of us did posters instead of keynotes or any other presentation. We first found 10 facts and then made a poster with the facts on. Some people wrote there facts on the poster and some put them on paper shaped as stars and on countries.

Student led conferences

Next week there are student led conferences. A student led conference is where we take our family around the class to show them what we have been doing in class  term one. We still need bottles for our class project. In our class we have also done a mars poster to show parents.

Poetry

We have been doing some poetry in class and have done one poem each.We've been doing poetry about our space and we've also been using our five senses to help us. Our five senses are : see, hear, feel, smell and taste. Next week we've got a poetry competition Pam Shaw will be running it, Mr Davis will choose the six best poems. These poems will go to the finals so they can be read out to see which one will WIN! I bet every wants to win. Once Pam is done with the six poems she will choose or 3 to go through

Feel inside video.

Our feel inside video is going very well we have done three tapes already. Keegan and Levi and maybe Jasper will do the rap.We're going to make the video in parts so that it changes the scenes.We've nearly finished the tape. We will do takes with some head phones and microphones but we haven't done that part yet. I [ Kayla] am really excited for it to be finished.We've done two tapes inside and one outside.
