Narratives
In room 5 we have started doing narratives in writing time. A narrative has a introduction, a problem, action, a resolution and a conclusion. In room 5 we all have great ideas and have started our narratives well. Some are about zombies or being stranded and survival stories.

Shipwrecked
In room 5 we got a new book. The title of the book is Shipwrecked, it's about a Japanese boy (who is 14) who went on a fishing boat and it got shipwrecked 300 miles away from his homeland. An American whaler boat went past and rescued him and he does what a Japanese person had never done before and went to America. He could not come back to japan because it was the law if you went out of the country you cannot come back in.
