Maori Week

In room five we have been making models of students in our class. What we did was we had glad-wrap and Cell-o-tape.We wrapped their body parts in glad wrap then we put tape over top so it makes it firm. Then we carefully cut up the back of the body parts off. Then with the head we used a ball incase we suffocated the models.Once we taped and cut the parts we then taped them up all together.
Then we finally had a Full body.We then hung them up on the ceiling with string.

New Building And Opening

Today, we are having an opening assembly for our new building. The school has been planning the M.P.L.C (Multi Purpose Learning Centre) before some of us weren't even five! There will be V.I.P's there and it will go on for an hour this afternoon. Some of the past Principal's will be there too. The Builders and Mr Taylor all worked really hard on the building. It looks really good inside and out. The Painters are painting the deck walls and are nearly finished.

Clubs

This term we have clubs! Clubs happen every second Friday when kids go to different classes for fun activities, and there are lots of choices. You choose four things to start off with and then you get one of your choices, but remember to put your name on your sheet or you won't get any of your one's chosen clubs! There are a variety of clubs that you may enjoy, like French, Cooking, Cutting/Drawing and much much more.
